Meet Nyrva, the brains behind the brand. Nyrva is a Nurse Manager of a busy unit at a community hospital. Born in Haiti and raised in Newark NJ, Nyrva always knew that she wanted to help people in some capacity. Nursing has been her safe haven. A wife and mom of 2, Nyrva accepted the challenge when she was asked to step into a leadership role at the hospital.

While working there, she has collaborated with some incredible people who have inspired her to pursue her passion and start this scrub line. “Women dominate this field, yet we struggle to find easy, accessible and fashionable scrubs”. My goal is to design scrubs that are comfortable, easily accessible, and make us feel good while servicing the public.” 

Nyrva plans to launch scrubs designed for males because men in healthcare matter, too. ScrubbinIt is a community scrub line that includes anyone who has dedicated their life to helping others.

Meet Cassidy

Casibaby was named after nurse Cassidy. Cassidy was a hard working mother and nurse who was breast feeding her son at home and would pump at work. When asked what her experience was like as a busy nurse who chose to pump, Cassidy explained that she would have to remove her whole scrub top and cover herself for privacy every time. This scrub top allows you to unzip and easily slide your electrical or cordless pump without having to remove your entire scrub top to maintain privacy. This saves valuable time for working moms who want to continue breastfeeding without extra hassle or effort.

Tidyjill was named after Jillian. As a new nurse, I learned so much working alongside her. One of the things that always stood out was how put together and tidy she was. Her office and files were always clean and well organized. Tidyjill is designed to hold your stethoscope in place so you can move around freely, with a generous pocket to store everything you need.

I have been privileged to work alongside some amazing nurses. Geri is named after nurse Geraldine. Geraldine exemplifies a hard working, conscientious nurse. Someone who does things the right way, with integrity, even when no one is watching. A nurse that patients and coworkers can rely on, and a professional who gives her all because she loves what she does. This scrub top comes with three pockets. One on the chest and two on the bottom.

A coach is someone who brings out the best in those around them. Lainie exemplifies that, with a unique way of capturing the right words to handle any situation. Words that inspire. Lainie has provided guidance through countless challenges, and always shares a gem or two when she rounds in the hospital. For years, Lainie has reinforced how far anyone can go, in any aspect of life, when you focus on consistency. She inspires me to keep going, and I always find a lesson from each conversation. This line is dedicated to her.
